Faith – Retreats 

In support of the mission of Bishop Verot, students are invited to participate in faith-based retreats. These retreat opportunities encourage our students to strive for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and reflection.

Freshman Retreat 

Our annual Freshman Retreat is our one-of-a-kind official welcoming of the freshman class into the Bishop Verot Catholic High School family. Seniors lead our wide-eyed freshmen through a variety of activities - beginning with christian service in our community, and including small and large group discussions, team-building activities, campus scavenger hunt, and a candlelight prayer service.

The overnight Freshman Retreat builds the foundation for the Bishop Verot experience, revealing to the new freshman class what it truly means to be a Viking in both word and deed. Seniors describe their Freshman Retreat as one of their most memorable experiences at Bishop Verot, and take the responsibility of teaching the newest Vikings the culture, pride, spirit, and tradition of our school's legacy.

Sophomore Retreat

The Sophomore Retreat brings the sophomore class together to inspire them to discover where they are on their faith journey and where they want to go. This required day-long retreat is held off campus with a variety of faith-filled activities. 

Live Jesus Retreats 

Live + Jesus  "Do Ordinary Things Extraordinarily Well and With Great Love." St. Francis de Sales  The Live Jesus Retreat, a three-day overnight retreat led by senior leaders and staff, takes place several times during the school year.

This retreat is an elective retreat and is open to juniors and seniors. The Live Jesus Retreat is often what our alumni refer to as one of the best experiences of their high school years.
