International Students

Bishop Verot Catholic High School is pleased to welcome students from other countries to join the Verot family. Students are welcome to join us for one academic semester, year, or for all four years. 

Bishop Verot does not assist with securing housing, and therefore requires all applicants work with an agency throughout the application process and for the entire length of their stay. Exceptions may be made for families who have secured housing with a local family member.  

Admissions Process

Admissions for the 2023-2024 school year is closed, as we have reached capacity in all grades. 

The admissions application for International Students interested in starting in August 2024 is due May 1, 2024.

The admissions application for International Students interested in starting in January 2025 is due October 1, 2024.

Parents/guardians or agents of international students seeking admission are required to provide Bishop Verot Catholic High School with the following:

An online admissions application - this includes the $350 application 
Two copies of the applicant's transcripts for the past three years: one copy must be in the original language and one copy must be translated into English by an official translator or school official.  These records must include courses taken and credits earned.
A letter or recommendation from a school administrator at the applicant's present school.  This letter should include the student's discipline and attendance record.
A copy of the student's TOEFL scores (a minimum of 65 is required) or ELTIS score (a level 4 or higher is required).
A copy of the applicant's Florida Immunization and Physical forms.
A Certificate of Birth.
An application fee of $350 is required for all International Students, and will cover the cost of the applicant's review of transcripts, school VISA paperwork and other fees.

No decision on acceptance will be made until all materials are received.

Student athletes are also required to meet the following criteria and to provide the below documentation to participate in athletics while at Bishop Verot. 

• Must be a full year student. Students attending for only one semester are not eligible.
• Must complete www.athleticclearance.com.
• Must provide I-20.
• Must provide original language and translated transcripts beginning with 8th grade.
• Must provide a copy of F1 Visa.

NOTE: Bishop Verot offers college prep, honors and advanced placement courses. A learning resource teacher is on staff to assist students who have documented special learning needs. Bishop Verot is unable to accept students with severe learning disabilities or students who have exceptional, emotional or disciplinary problems. We cannot provide programs to address those particular needs. 

International Student Tuition for new students for the 2023 - 2024 school year: $19,500 which includes all Administrative Fees. International Students are required to pay in full for the school year prior to the school year beginning.

 *Discounts and financial aid are not available to International students.
