Bishop Verot Performing Arts

The performing arts program at Bishop Verot has grown over the last few years. Some of the theatrical performances from the last few years include Bye Bye Birdie, Lucky Stiff, The Sound of Music, Plaza Suite, and Guys and Dolls. The choir and band have participated in competitions and performances around the state, such as Festival Disney in Orlando, the St. Andrew Festival, and the AFCAAM Christmas recital, in addition to hosting a combined concert every semester in Bishop Verot's Anderson Theater.

Spring 2020 ~ Beauty and the Beast

Performing Arts at Bishop Verot High School has grown so much over the last few years, with over 50 students performing in our last theatrical production between cast, crew, and pit orchestra members. However, as with many performing arts programs across the country, our shows for the Spring 2020 semester had to come to a screeching halt with the pandemic spreading across our country. We were fortunate enough to meet this summer and film our production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which was to take place in April 2020. The majority of our cast spent hours rehearsing over Zoom, preparing their lines and songs, and, along with some of our tech crew members and dedicated parent volunteers, sacrificed a day of their summer break to bring the show to fruition against all odds. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to gain some closure on this experience, especially our seniors who dedicated the last four years to theater and the performing arts. With that being said, it is no secret that ticket sales are a huge part of what enables the success of our program, and we need your help to continue the momentum we've gained over the last few years! We appreciate any donation, large or small, to carry our program into the coming years. Thank you for supporting Bishop Verot High School Performing Arts!
